Scheduling Posts
ClipsMate's scheduling feature lets you plan your publishing calendar in advance. Render your videos now and set them to go live at the optimal time for each platform.
How to Schedule a Post
- After rendering a video, click "Publish" from the video details page or the My Videos list.
- Select one or more connected social media accounts as publishing destinations.
- Toggle "Schedule for Later" instead of "Publish Now."
- Choose the date and time using the date picker. All times are displayed in your local timezone (set in Settings > Preferences).
- Add platform-specific details: title, description, hashtags, and privacy settings.
- Click "Schedule" to confirm.
Viewing Your Schedule
Navigate to "Social Accounts > Schedule" to see a calendar view of all upcoming scheduled posts. You can:
- View posts by day, week, or month.
- Filter by platform or destination account.
- Click any scheduled post to view details or make changes.
Editing Scheduled Posts
Click on any scheduled post to open its details. You can:
- Change the scheduled date and time.
- Update the caption, description, or hashtags.
- Add or remove publishing destinations.
- Cancel the scheduled post entirely.
Changes are saved immediately and the queue updates in real time.
Multi-Platform Scheduling
Schedule a single video to publish to multiple platforms at different times. For example, publish to Instagram Reels at 9:00 AM, LinkedIn at 12:00 PM, and YouTube at 3:00 PM — all from one scheduling session. Each destination can have its own caption and settings.
Timezone Handling
ClipsMate stores all schedule times in UTC and converts them to your local timezone for display. If you are managing accounts for clients in different timezones, you can temporarily switch the display timezone in Settings > Preferences to verify publish times from their perspective.
Failure Handling
If a scheduled publish fails (due to token expiration, platform downtime, or content policy violations), ClipsMate sends you an email notification with the error details. The post moves to a "Failed" status in the schedule view, where you can fix the issue and retry.
Scheduling ensures your content reaches audiences at peak engagement times without requiring you to be online at the moment of publishing.
