Understanding Your Dashboard

Understanding Your Dashboard

Your ClipsMate dashboard is the central hub for managing all of your video content, monitoring usage, and accessing every feature the platform offers. Here is a breakdown of the main sections.

Home Overview

The home screen displays a quick summary of your account activity:

  • Videos Created — total count and a sparkline showing creation activity over the last 30 days.
  • Render Credits Used — your current usage versus your plan limit, displayed as a progress bar.
  • Recent Videos — thumbnail cards for your latest projects with status badges (draft, rendering, published).
  • Quick Actions — shortcut buttons for Create Video, Browse Templates, and Upload Media.

Sidebar Navigation

The left sidebar provides access to every major section:

  1. My Videos — your full video library with search, filter, and sort controls.
  2. Templates — browse and favorite templates organized by category and style.
  3. AI Assets — manage generated scripts, voiceovers, and captions.
  4. Media Library — uploaded images, video clips, audio files, and logos.
  5. Brand Kit — configure your brand colors, fonts, logos, and watermarks.
  6. Social Accounts — connect and manage publishing destinations.
  7. Team — invite members, manage roles, and view team activity.
  8. Analytics — view engagement metrics for published videos.
  9. Settings — account details, subscription, API keys, and preferences.

Top Bar

The top bar contains the global search (searches videos, templates, and assets), the Create Video button, notification bell, and your profile menu. Use global search to quickly jump to any video by title or keyword.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Power users can press Ctrl + K (or Cmd + K on Mac) to open the command palette, which lets you navigate to any section, create a new video, or search your library without touching the mouse.

Responsive Layout

The dashboard is fully responsive. On tablets, the sidebar collapses into a hamburger menu. On mobile, the layout stacks vertically with the most-used actions at the top. All features remain accessible regardless of screen size.

Take a few minutes to explore each section. Familiarity with the dashboard layout will save you significant time as you scale your video production.
