Setting Up Your Brand Kit
Setting Up Your Brand Kit
Your Brand Kit ensures every video you create reflects your brand identity. Once configured, ClipsMate applies your logo, colors, and fonts automatically to templates and AI-generated videos.
Step 1: Navigate to Brand Kit
Open the sidebar and click "Brand Kit". If this is your first time, you will see a setup wizard. Returning users see their saved brand profiles.
Step 2: Upload Your Logo
Click "Upload Logo" and select a PNG or SVG file. For best results:
- Use a transparent-background PNG at least 500×500 pixels.
- Upload both a full logo and an icon/mark variant for smaller placements.
- SVG files scale perfectly at any size and are recommended for watermarks.
Step 3: Define Your Color Palette
Add up to six brand colors by entering hex codes or using the color picker. ClipsMate labels them as:
- Primary — used for headings, buttons, and accent elements.
- Secondary — used for subheadings and supporting elements.
- Background — default background color for scenes.
- Text — default body text color.
- Accent 1 & 2 — used for highlights, borders, and decorative elements.
Step 4: Select Your Fonts
Choose a heading font and a body font from the ClipsMate font library, which includes over 200 Google Fonts. You can also upload custom .woff2 or .ttf font files if your brand uses a proprietary typeface.
Step 5: Configure Watermark (Optional)
If you want your logo overlaid on every rendered video, enable the watermark toggle. You can control:
- Position — top-left, top-right, bottom-left, or bottom-right.
- Opacity — from 10% to 100%.
- Size — small, medium, or large relative to the video frame.
Step 6: Save and Apply
Click "Save Brand Kit". From now on, every template you use and every AI-generated video will default to your brand settings. You can override individual elements in the editor at any time without changing your saved Brand Kit.
Multiple Brand Profiles
On Business and Enterprise plans, you can create multiple Brand Kit profiles — useful for agencies managing several clients. Switch between profiles from the Brand Kit dropdown before creating a new video.
A well-configured Brand Kit dramatically speeds up production and ensures visual consistency across all your content.
